Specialist, Health Finance (m/f/d)
Geneva, start ASAP until December 2027
Your Role
As a Health Finance Specialist, you will support countries in strengthening
financial sustainability and health financing systems
. You will provide technical expertise, advise on financing strategies, and contribute to efficient, equitable use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
financial sustainability and transition plans
- Provide expertise in
health financing, costing, efficiency, and insurance systems
- Support
financing design, negotiations, and implementation
- Manage
technical assistance and capacity-building initiatives
- Contribute to
innovative financing solutions
- Analyze data and engage with
international and national stakeholders
Your Profile
- Advanced degree in
economics, public health, or related field
(specialization required)
- Strong experience in
health finance, public financing, or development finance
- Expertise in
financial sustainability, health financing reforms, and resource tracking
- Proven experience working with
international stakeholders and country programmes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Fluent English and good French required
